Sunday, September 28: Season Premieres

9:00 Desperate Housewives (ABC)

When Desperate Housewives ended last season the show attempted to follow in the steps of other successful shows (One Tree Hill, Battlestar Galactica, LOST) and jump ahead five years in to the future. Read about some of the cast's thoughts in today's Detroit Free Press.

10:00 Brothers & Sisters (ABC)

I love this show! The family dynamic makes for excellent and relatable drama that I can't stop watching. And after last season's wedding (!!), Justin and Rebecca's kiss (which I didn't want but really wanted at the same time) and the mysterious new child roaming out there somewhere, I am totally psyched for tonight's premiere!!

9:00 Dexter (Showtime)

I have not seen this show yet, but I just borrowed the first season from a friend of mine. One of things I love most about television is its ability to make you understand things from new perspectives and undermine your stereotypes of a situation, I think this show does that and I can't wait to see how.

P.S. OMG I didn't know Julie Benz (Darla from Buffy/Angel) was in this show!?

10:00 Californication (Showtime)

I have heard both praise and hatred for this show, but I can not give my own opinion since I have not watched it yet, I intend to shortly, but for you fans out there...
