Buffy (aka Sarah Michelle Gellar) returning to the small screen?

It really irks me when TV stars decide they want to focus on their movie careers (and repeatedly refuse to do any sort of continuation), like Sarah Michelle Gellar leaving after seven seasons of Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, because inevitably they always come back (though unfortunately not to Buffy) and I had to lose my favorite show in the process...I'm not bitter or anything, what? Of course, like any loyal follower, I am still extremely excited that SMG is returning to television in a new half hour, single camera, HBO series, The Wonderful Maladys. The show was developed by Charles Randolph, specifically for Gellar, and he describes her character as having "a kind of zealous immaturity — like a drug addict with a to-do list." The show will focus on three dysfunctional siblings still trying to cope with the loss of their parents at an early age.
